Canadian wife is Pregnant

Hi all,

My story is little complicated. I was in canada on Refuge status and I was living with my Girl friend. We were dating from last sept 2011. We lived in same apartment. We shared many things together. We went to many trips together. We also brought a New car together.

We had a bad month when I was removed by CBSA. My girl came to india and we both went to Thailand for New year. Later we both got married and went to Europe for Honeymoon.

My question is this.

My wife is Pregnant now and she is in Canada. What we should do ?

Can I ask her for abortion because she can't live alone in Canada.or she should stay here with me in India till the baby is deliver ?

We are confuse right now.

The abortion is not your choice, so you can't exactly ask her, but you can discuss it with her and see what she has to say.
Why cant she live in canada by herself? The baby will be canadian no matter where he is born, so she can maybe stay with you in india.

She can't live in canada because she don;t have any family in canada. Not even her parents and we both miss each other a lot.

Save your self from remorse and pain and keep your baby! Ask your girl friend to come and live with you and as long as she is Canadian citizen she can apply as citizen living abroad.

Don't want to judge, but this is no reason to think about abortion. That wouldn't have even popped to my mind as an option. Just ask her to fly to India and problem solved.

Abortion is the option or any wayout..
I would say she should apply for your spousal application (though it would be little complicated but you should give it a try)
and by the time application is in process , she can be with you in India and your baby will be Canadian no matter if the baby is born in India

That's what we are planning to do. We will be filing our case this month with all old proof of our relation when I was in canada and our all documents since I was removed. It is been almost 6 months now.

Yes, we decided to deliver our baby in india and she will be moving with me in india till my process

we both love each other and can't see separation at any cost.

Maybe you should think it the other way 'round. Maybe is to reunite families! A little planning ahead doesn't hurt! Time is on your side. One day eventually you will overcome this obstacle and you the wife and your baby will have a nice life in Canada

I am more concern for my baby write now rather than canada. Me and wife paid taxes in canada and our joint income is more than 80K $ annually.

we planned now to submit our spouse file this month. We have loads of proof together. And I believe my case will gone through. I never had a criminal case.

We both lived in canada together for almost a year and we are married after 16 months of relation.

and yes you are right... it is to reunite families but sometimes in emotions we say they are to split families but stepping into their shoes even they are not wrong. so many fruads have been done in their country just for the status that they have to be strict.. i hope they do justice to every genuine couple..

Hopefully you have kept your plane tickets that you have used together, they are great for proving your relationship. Photos, plane tickets, paperwork showing that you are having a baby together, use everything. It sounds to me like you shouldn't have too many problems getting in.

May I ask, why were you removed? Just refugee status denied?
