I got an internship offer from
Department of Aerospace University at RYERSON university,Toronto,CANADA
during the summer from May 20th 2010 -August 15th 2010. I have a few
queries regarding the visa and its procedure:

1.which type of visa should i apply for?

2.what is the duration of the whole process and how many days before
should i apply for the visa from the day of departure?

3.what are the documents required for the visa ??


4.Any other details which are important for applying visa?

as far as i know, u dont need study visa for courses less than 6 months.

Yes I think that you have to apply for TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) only for internship which will be valid for 6 months.

Try to ask nearest VFS office.
