Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

But this does not look like a physical address.. It looks like Post box, and the delivery status on CanadaPost site shows as "Available for Pickup". Does that mean that they put in the mail box and waiting for someone to pick it up from there? I am getting so stressed as it has the originals in it..

I don't know how all passport offices operate, but no need to stress over it. you sent it to the right place. relax, everything will be fine

SImilar thing happened to me as well, sent via canada post and site is showing "Out for Delivery". When i contacted them, they said its delivered but as they receive large volume of packages in their mailroom, its difficult to scan the delivery package.

I believe, its with them since 15 Feb. Yes, its frustrating but we have to trust.

For me it is even more weird, it shows as "Item available for pick-up " but from the address it looks like a POST BOX, so how come they just not deliver it there. Very frustrating. Did you also mail it to their Missisauga address?

NO, i sent to Gatinue... You can call CanadaPost and ask. If its delivered then ask them for a proof. They will investigate it. Dont frustrate, just keep things on CanadaPost shoulder. Its their duty to find it.

I miss couple of my original docs irrelevant to the passport application from my file and believe I sent them in the envelope mistakenly which is unlikely. Wanna ask them to confirm.

If you sent any not required documents, they will most likely return them to you. Are these documents important?

• proof of Canadian citizenship (original only)

They need original of the certificate ? i just want to confim before i send them the certificate.. please let me know ?

so i will send them

filled application form
my citizenship certificate - in original
a copy of health card - signed by me and my guarantor
2 photographs as per the specifications and dated, signed by guarantor and photographer

are these enough ? or am i missing anything ?
