Are they accepting walk-in application?
I heard it's only for urgent application and with telephonic appointments only.
Thanks
some passport offices are accepting walk-ins. Does not matter if your application is urgent or if you have an appointment. you will have to check which one near you is accepting walk-ins. Mine is kitchener office and luckily they are accepting. 2 weeks is pretty fast as compared to 5 weeks that we are seeing for mailed applications. plus they return you citizenship certificate right away if you apply in person.

How to check that, do I need to call them? I tried to find but no info online for walk-ins

I do not think there is any way to know unless someone posts here that specific office is accepting walk-ins. I didn't know about my office until I went there.

Walk-in non-urgent application submitted on August 10 at Ottawa Service Canada next to Passport.

ETA to send passport is September 7.

Not sure why the long wait.

Is that ETA as per the receipt?

I agree with this. I also didn't know until I went there.
So did you found any office accepting walk-ins in Toronto or near by!

Hello experts, one question.
Applied Passport from USA. Today (Aug 13th) passport contact center informed passport ordered for print. Any idea time line from passport ordered for print to passport delivered?

Timeline:
July 19th passport application delivered.
July 26th Credit card charged
Aug 13th Customer care informed passport ordered for print.

Application sent: June 29, 2021
Application delivered: July 5 to Ottawa
Complain submitted: August 6, 2021
Credit card charged: August 9 by Passport Office in Mississauga, same day I got a call that my passport will be mailed within 5 days
No calls to my guarantor and references
As of today: August 13 - passport is still in production (even though they promised to mail it by Friday)
Also, the tracking number for my certificate is wrong, they said they gave me the wrong number and will correct it later.
But the certificate is not my biggest worry lol
Will be calling again on Monday or Tuesday...
