Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

Update for my timeline, yesterday I sent a request for my application and today I received the tracking number for my passport, it was sent out today.
I don't know when it was printed, between the 7th and the 9th. They didn't mention anything about the certificate. From what I've seen on the forum, it can either arrive before the passport, or after.

as per your previous post, your appl was delivered sept 25, passport sent out oct 9, that is 2 weeks.
;compared to posters from 1st week of sept, it took them 4 weeks.

I had completed the inquiry today for passport update and today itself I received an email saying - We have received your application. The processing of applications has begun with expected delays.
application received at passport Canada - Sept 29th. I called them once I got the email and they gave me my application number. But no amount is deducted yet from my cc

- Passport Received: Oct 13, 2020
- Citizenship Certificate tracking details received:

My issuing authority is Thunder Bay, so probably to clear the backlog, they are sending PP applications to a few PP offices to help them out. I live in Edmonton.

You can use your tracking which you get when you send your application via canada post or other courier services .
