I just spoke with the passport service rep, i was told if I don't get a call on Jun 20th, I have to call them back so they can follow up to the passport office.
I am planning to line up on June 22nd if I don't get anything from them.

This is a similar scenario to mine. I'm traveling June 24 and called to have my passport transferred to the Mississauga passport office. They told me to expect a call on June 20 or 21. I'll also be planning to line up on June 22 if I don't receive a call.
Good luck to us. LOL do not forget your new signed application form, photos and proof of travel. This is so exhausting.
Are you a new citizen? Did you mail the certificate to them if so? What did they say about that as you no longer have the original to show them if you line up for transfer.
No, but I have to apply for a new one since I changed my name. They said it's okay since they know that I have mailed out my original docs. But, I will be bringing my photo copies of everything (citizenship, old canadian passport, marriage cert, legal name change and other IDs.)
It would appear literally everyone took a photocopy of their citizenship certificate apart from me lol well you live and you learn i suppose.
I called payment line and said I wanted to make sure card number was correct as I hadn't been charged yet. He took my card details again just in case but said my file hadn't been looked at by a passport officer yet. My travel date is July 20th and he said call back two weeks before to see where it's at.
Just wondering why you are going to bring a new application , photos etc. if you they don't call you for your transfer? Not saying it's wrong/bad, just curious. I transferred my file last Monday, June 6 and still no call. I'll likely head over tomorrow/Thursday and line up. When the 1-800 agent processed the transfer, she said that all my children's applications, birth certificates, and photos were scanned. Won't the local passport office just pull those from the system when they see us in person?
My assumption is that you never knew what's going to happen on their end so it's best to be prepared. I've read in some cases where new applications and photos were required despite an application already being submitted.
That will be your back plan just in case they don't find your file. I've read from other experiences that they were called in that their file was transferred successfully but they were not properly scanned especially the photos, so they have to come back and get it done.
I applied in person on April 6th, and since then no update. I can see a lot of people applied during March / April still awaiting. My mail out was May 7th, ETA was on May 12th. Is there any point in calling and checking the status ? to understand if that makes any difference.
