Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

Here's another update. IRCC Mississauga Passport Office is fully booked until September 9th, 2021 even for Urgent Passport request. So, there's no way I can submit my application there. I've got an appointment to submit application at Kitchener Passport office tomorrow morning (The only other option was St. Catherines). I have a friend in Kitchener that could possibly collect the passport on my behalf and I can collect it from him after work or over the weekend.

I suppose so. I recall someone applying in Kitchener and getting their passport in 4 days (normal application).

Yes they are. I applied on 12th august and received my passport on 18th (4 business days). Kitchener passport office. It was normal application

Picked up my shiny new Canadian Passport today August 25th! Because it was sent via express post and I wasn't able to collect it at home, it went back to the post office yesterday and I went for it today. Submitted my application via walk-in on August 12th. Kelowna BC.

I visited Passport office in Kitchener today and submitted my application. Pickup date is August 30th (Monday). They only provided "Express Pickup" service.

Are passports ever delivered by UPS ? I have a suspicious e mail from UPS re a delivery. I thought Express post was the delivery.
