My timeline:

App Sent: Feb 28
App delivered: Mar 2(Gatineau)
Web request sent: Mar 14(no reply yet)
CC: Not charged yet

My application was delivered on the 28th and my CC still hasn’t been charged. Is that typical?

Depends from case to case eg Mine was delivered on 11th Feb but CC still not charged. Normal Trend is CC Charged between 20-25 Days.

I mailed my passport application Feb 7th, it was received in Gatineau on Feb 10th, my credit card was charged on March 10th. I have a couple questions..1)If my credit card was charged can I assume there are no problems with the application? 2)How long after your credit card was charged, will you receive your passport? I live in rural Saskatchewan if that makes a difference ‍♀

My application arrived at Gatineau QC on Feb 10, CC charged March 2, PP received March 14 in Winnipeg.
Hopefully you will get it soon.

Hi tarekh thank you for the link to contact them online. Also, you said we can stay online until the #1800 responds. What do you mean? Can we interact with them on this forum? How do we do that? How do we know they are online or talk to them?

I mean by online (on the phone) to interact with them but the form is just to submit your inquiry

I agree. Call them and clarify what under examination means. Sometimes they mean they need some documents but they don't call.

I am calling them now. There is 426 calls ahead of me. That's at least two hours of waiting.

How one will get the tracking details of the passport? Do they email you or call you?

If it happened that you called or sent them via the webform they will give it to you (in case your application was done), otherwise, just wait for Canada Post
