We got a reply, on the 11th I believe, but it just said "we received the application and we are processing..keep in mind delays" , so not much to go off of. We concluded as much when they charged our mastercard. I was hoping for an estimated date of completion but we got no such thing.
Hmm, you may want to call and ask for the tracking numbers for the citizenship certificate/passport since it should be dispatched soon.

Just an update. Our guarantor missed two calls on two seperate days from the passport processing office, so I guess nothing will continue until they can reach her.

They left voicemail saying it's in regards to the passport application and they just have a few questions. She called them back and left a message when she is available for them to call and actually get through. Stressful but I'm glad that's it moving at least, I was expecting major delay considering the lock down and everything. It's a 1-800 number, so make sure to tell your guarantor to keep an eye out and answer the phone even from unknown caller
Were you applying for your very first passport? I'm wondering because I had to submit the same application that is needed if you are applying for the first time due to having a damaged passport and couldn't renew it.
I sent the form page for an update yesterday and received an email response today - they were able to confirm that the application was received and it is being processed (last week i had filled the form and at the time they said that it was not in their system yet). That at least gives me hope they are working their way through it. Hopefully this encourages you.
