Canadian Passport in person timeline

I saw this link and information on another post here. Just wanted to ask if anyone recently received new passport ? Looks like it's available in some offices where "new printers" are installed.

As of June 19, 2023, we started to issue the new passports. Until we finish installing the printers for the new passports in all offices, you may still get the current passport when you apply. By spring 2024, we’ll only be issuing the new passports.


Edit: Well, they just started issuing new passports 2 days ago so I assume my question is not valid as of today but I will keep it here. Maybe we can hear some news in couple of days or weeks

It is regular application (Not urgent)
Passport Office: Brampton
Passport Application: 7 June 2023
Passport Delivered via Mail: 20 June 2023

I have my certificate and I want to apply for a news design passport, so I'm waiting for good news very soon

That's why we need to find an office which has fresh printers

Applied in-person: 6/13
Mail out date in receipt: 6/27
Printed and Mailed: 6/21
Received: 6/22

********got the old design- glad I got the one with history that I learnt during the test and not the one with squirrel eating a nut********
