Hello All,

I have been working in this company for past two years and recently decided to ask them for the LMIA. My company has just got approved for the LMIA for my pr process. Since I have still a valid open permit (PGWP), we did not apply for work permit extension.
In that case, what is going to be the right answers for the below questions?

Q1. Is Jenny's job offer from the employer named on the current work permit ?

NO? since it is PGWP??

Q2. Has Jenny been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?)

NO I guess with same reason above?

People are volunteers so can’t expect a response immediately. This is not a chat room with immediate answers. You need to wait for people knowledgeable on the topic. If you need urgent assistance then contact an immigration consultant.

How long does the whole process of asking them to give you LMIA take? I am in a very similar situation and my PGWP expires in about 90 days.

No. I haven't asked them yet. I am not sure whether they will even do it for me. I just wanted to roughly check how the process time is like.
Well first they need to post the job for at least a month & prove no Canadian or PR could be hired. Does the job make media wage for the region? LMIA requirements are on the IRCC website. Depending on the NOC it can take weeks or months but expect at least a month.
