You will need to sponsor your child using this application package for spouse/common-law or dependent child. Your child will be the priniciple applicant - and, yes, some of the questions will not be applicable to her. Just write "n/a" in those spaces of the application.

The information about how many pictures are necessary and the size is included in this Region Specific Guide for General Asia, from Part III of the application packet.

Read through the info in the Sponsor's and Applicant's Guides because they will answer most of the other questions that you've asked. Once you do that, then write again with any specific questions you can't find answers for in the guides. Even info on what forms need to be copies and which ones need to be originals is included in the Document Checklist in the Regional Guide.

You should be fine with proving your intention to settle in Canada with family here and a job waiting. Just don't forget to include a job offer letter from WalMart, and maybe even a letter of support from your brother saying that he will provide accomodations for you and your child until you can get settled. And don't forget to include whatever paperwork you have to prove that you hold sole custody of your child. If the father even just has visitation rights, you will need his consent. Good luck.

hi sumaira, i'm glad u have some feedback, i was reading ur posts but for me too would b confusing what to fill in for such a small child...
from what i think: the sponsor part u need to fill it full except the ones where it says - fill only if u sponsor spouse/common law partner
the applicant part u need to fill in the PR form for sure and for the rest, on many of them it says to be filled in for "18 years or older" or if the sponsor is the spouse/partner....even if ur daughter is the main applicant, she is less than 18, so many forms don't apply for her (same for the country specific form if it says for 18 years or over)....it sounds confusing at the beginning but i think once u start, u'll see that ur package will be pretty small and straight forward (just make sure u show what RobsLuv said)....that's just my opinion, not a legal advice
u can also ask ur brother to call CIC and ask them what forms exactly u need to send....if u ask them exact questions they will give u exact answers

as for the fees, outside Canada the only way is online and for that u need credit card....of course, ur brother can also pay online with his credit card, he will get the receipt by email which then he can forward it to u; u'll fill it and send it original

yeah thats a good idea i will tell my brother to pay the fees online and he has been calling cic but they are not picking up the phone thats is why im confuse about the forms..coz i am a single mother and there are few forms that relate to spouse so i dont need to fill them up like statutory declaration of common law union (IMM 5409) and sponsorship questionnnaire(IMM 5540) so i have to leave these rite? and in immigration forms Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] and Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire [IMM 5490] and in specific region forms there is certain information that i cant provide like her education her working experience so should i omit all those forms?

that's right any forms which r related to spouse/partner don't apply to u - in the checklist u can write N/A next to it; those forms apply to people who sponsor the spouse or common-law partner (it is written in both the checklist and the form itsself)
also read the guides!!!! - it should say if the form should b completed by everyone or just by people over 18; if i remember correctly the background forms should b completed only by the ones who r 18 or over
another thing u can do if it's not sure - include the form and in each box u write n/a my child is 2 years old
tell ur brother to keep trying maybe at 8-9am

NO family members don't refer to the sponsor, they refer to the ones who apply for PR....in terms of this process, family members refer to the extra people applying for PR in Canada (e.g husband the sponsor, wife the applicant, the 3 children r the family members)...the medicals should b sent from the beginning although for such a small child maybe the doctor would perform less tests i don't know!! some offices could ask for the medicals later, u need to read the regional guides...

listen before u sent, try to read everything urself, all the guides and understand them!! (the links RobsLuv sent u); some people take the easy way and think if they just ask here they think they have the right answer....but here just a few r actually experts and work in the immigration field, the rest will answer based on their experience/opinion which could b different from region to region, situation to situation....good luck!!

no problem!!! u welcome yes read all their explanation, start filling out and put together the documents if there r more questions go ahead and ask, for sure someone in here would know

by the way, i think once u apply for her sponsorship u can try again and apply for a tourist visa for her; yes maybe she won't get it (which is really dumb to refuse a 2 year old ) but at least u tried
u can approach it differently: u as her mom will write invitation letter for her (like a cover letter); u will explain how u want to go back to Ca to b with ur family, how u have a job there already and how she has to come with u; ask them to consider humanitarian and compassionate grounds (a small child has to be with her mom, u r the only parent and other stuff related to ur situation, but real things, don't lie or invent anything); if u r in a dangerous zone in ur country, mention that too; any problems u have there, explain them!!!!!!!! also u need to mention dual intent => since there is a pr application in process for her and u will b in Ca, obviously she will overstay her tourist visa...

maybe consult a lawyer/consultant from Ca on how to make a better tourist appl for her...but these r the key words u need to use: "humanitarian and compassionate grounds" and "dual intent"

but for now focus on sending her sponsorship good luck!!
