Not sure this is going to be of any use. The parents do not appear to have ever married. You’ve got a bit of work to do on your end if this is how you plan to proceed.

I am Vietnamese living in Vietnam. I have a son (8) from a Canadian father. We are not married but the father agreed to be on the birth certificate and signed documents and did DNA test to prove his paternity.
The father left Vietnam years ago and never gave support money. I don't know where he lives but I know his home city. I would like to receive child support and I want my son a Canadian citizen. I only have his birth certificate proof and the paperswork his father gave: DNA test results, written oath he is father, copy of father passport
How can I get child support for my son? Can he get Canadian citizen and passport?
