Canadian Child Based PR

Hi All,

I am on work permit and my 5 years going to completed here in Canada. My son born here in canada and having Canadian citizenship. We were all ok to move back to own country but few days back we got confirmation report that my Son diagnosis under Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

In my country i know treatment are available but lack of social awareness about Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

I am looking a suggestion is there any Humanitarian based , may i apply my PR here in canada and support my Son's growth.

Please suggest.

You can attempt to get H&C. If treatment is available in your home country then the argument lessens. Also is very dependent on the needs of your child. Being on the spectrum can mean many things. Given your financial position you may be better off in your home country because many parents end up having to pay for a lot of therapy out of pocket since they can only receive a certain amount of therapy paid for the government. There is less and less funding for aids in the classroom so that should be a consideration. Would you be able to pay to provide better education or more help in your home country? No one size fits all for H&C applications or weather your child is actually better off in Canada.
