Canada Young Professional Visa for Germans

Guys,

Does someone knows how it works with the offer letter? I heard that some people would not state dates in the offer letter because when they would arrive to the border, the officer would give them a visa only for that stated date.

I heard its better just to write in the offer that once you start working, the offer will be valid for 1 year. So no dates.

Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I am german too and here on a WHV and want to apply for the young professional one. You guys already answered a few of my questions, thanks everyone
Here are some more questions hopefully someone can answer.

1. So I want to apply while I am still in Canada, does it work if I go to Buffalo for example (I am in Toronto) and then on my way back get my new visa at customs? And I heard from a spanish friend that its now possible to actually get it without leaving the country, anybody knows more about that?
2. Has anyone an idea what to write in the justification letter? I know it says explaining the link between the employment you've arranged in Canada and your employment/academic history, but not exactly sure what to write.
3. Does the job offer have to be 40 hours a week or would it be ok also 30 hours a week?

My employer is looking for qualified person who likes to apply for "Young Professionals" under International Experience Canada in 2015, and they are willing to provide the employment contract for you to apply for Young Professionals under IEC. However you must never apply IEC before and your country must be one of those countries which has IEC agreement with Canada.

Moreover you also need to be either have at least one year of relevant working experience or hold a degree in Food & Beverage industry.

If you are the right person and a good worker then before your one year end that my employer is willing to help you to apply for LMIA so you can continue working in Canada afterward.

Something about us, we are a chain pizza shop in a small town in Alberta and the main job duties are making pizza, take orders, food preparation, and able to lift about 25lb. And of course you must be able to communicate in English.

PS: Right now we don't have any extra LMIA on hand so if you are looking for LMIA only then please don't leave any comment here. We want someone who is able to apply for YOUNG PROFESSIONALS under IEC for this year then my employer will help to apply for LMIA in 2016 if they think you are a good employee to keep. THANK YOU

I am from Germany as well and live in Calgary since last September, waiting to apply for the Young Professionals Visa 2015.
Right now I am here with a tourist visa which will expire on March 26th. I really hope they have their website up and running soon,
that I get the visa before that date. I am getting a little nervous now.

Since you are in Calgary too and have to deal with the same stuff, would you wanna meet up for a coffee??

Hey no worries... I got my work permit already . In the `Application for a work permit made outside Canada` i put Germany as my current country of residence and the country where Im applying from. And for current address I put my Canadian address. And residential address my German one. That worked out. I submitted my docs on the CIC website on March 11th and got the POE letter on March 17th. I was really suprised that it was soo quick. Good Luck and hopefully yours will be processed pretty quickly as well!

Hi,

I have received my CAL letter and have signed up for MyCIC account. However when I go through the questions to determine what documents I need to submit, I don't appear to be getting the right list. At first I put Canada as my place of residence and it gave me a work extension form to fill out which I figured was all wrong. Then I read this thread and saw that it's best to say your place of residence is in your home country so I did that. Now it has asked for me to fill in an IMM1295 but I can't see where my CAL letter is meant to be uploaded? What list of documents have others been getting?
