canada work process time in New Delhi

hi guys i also applied a spouse open work permit in newdelhi through VFS in march 18 2013 but till now on 14th june 2013 almost 3 months and there is no news about visa .. i called to my agency and they told that april , may june is busy on student visa applicants... it may come with in 1 week//is it true..any one have any idea please share...

received new delhi chc on 29/04/13
no update after that from chc till date , i send them
email also but no reply yet. i don't know why chc taking

Hi Everyone,

I am a Hot Air Balloon Pilot and got an contract to fly in Winnipeg, Canada from May till Oct 2013.
I have applied for Work Visa (Duration less than 6 months) @ VFS Canada Mumbai on 9th April 2013.
After 2 months and 7 days still under process. Even after 4 emails to High Commission, no reply till now. My Employer in Canada appointed Immigration Lawyer to check the status but no answer.
Today called VFS call center and they also confirmed about the Staff Strike in New Delhi. VFS site says 20 working days(means 1 month) but after such a long time still don't know when will i get a visa if it is approved.
I was suppose to join work in 1st week of May for 6 months. I will loose the contract if don't get visa in this week. ??? :'( :'( :'(
Thinking of withdrawing my application and plan for something else. Sad on loosing money, time and energy for no fault of ours.

Looks like there are many like me waiting for a good news day by day. Best of Luck Everyone ;D

Today is 17 jun 2013 and till date I have not heard anything from the embassy In spite of several emails
