Its difficult to be honest.
I would say both countries offer social benefits net... like child care at certain age, universal medical care... but then AU looses as it remote, but Canada looses as its quite cold and many places such as Saskatoon or Winnipeg are quite remote too
I know personally that AU has better paid jobs, but houses are more expensive and cost of living is higher.
Both countries are good for immigration, just need to understand what you exactly looking for.

For childcare benefits, you'll probably have to do some research yourself - can't be that hard to find.
Well based upon links mentioned herein, it is easy to deduce that In Canada take away salary is more than Australia by a decent margin of 25.9%. That is, a serious margin.Dexmoody said:

Take away salary means the salary which you are able to get after deducting taxes. So you should not say "in contrast" actually you too, are writing the benefits of Canada.moha_abdo said:
