canada visitor visa issued for my mother

applied with old passport with 7 months validity left

visa approved

renewed passport and submitted new passport with validity 10 years. but still visa stamped till old passport expiry only

CAN I RENEW IN AUGUST 2019 AGAIN. BY REAPPLYING . I DONT THINK SHE CAN TRAVEL IN NEXT FEW MONTHS AS SHE HAS TO UNDERGO A SURGERY

ONE MORE Q- HOW EARLY I CAN RENEW IT AGAIN AS EXISTING ONE EXPIRES AUG 2019
AS MEDICALS VALID AND BIOMETRICS VALID NO NEED TO REDO THOSE.

Based on your mom's case, it seems IRCC does not change the validity of the TRV if someone submits a new, longer validity passport after getting a passport submission request. Anyway.

To answer your questions:
1. She cannot 'renew' her TRV. She must submit a brand new application for a new TRV in August.

2. Medicals are/were not required for TRVs, unless asked for by IRCC.

3. If she has a medical condition, it would be best to include an overseas travel medical insurance policy when she applies
