I am in US in H1B. I need to go to Canada for a trip for 12 days. I would like to apply Canada visitor visa. I need to know if i enter in Canada in a visitor visa ( single or multiple entry) will there be any stamp in my passport to show which date i entered in Canada ( Say May 5th 2011)? Then if i leave canada after 12 day say May 17th 2011 will there be any prove in my passport which will tell what day i left Canada? Let me tell you why i am asking for this date record. I need to re-capture the days how long i was out side of the US for my H1B extention. I need to have some kind of prove to show US immigration that how long i was outside of US. Is there any other way to show how long i was in Canada in visitor visa?

thanks.

Canada will stamp you in, and the US will stamp you back in on the way back. Ask the US to stamp the passport if they don't when you show it to them.

I would like to use Automatic Visa revlidation rule ( 30 days rule) while re-entering to US from Canada. In this case i need to use/keep my existing I-94. US will NOT issue any new I-94. I am not sure if in this case US will put any stamp in my passport. Do you know if Canada keep any record when i am leaving from Canada?

No, Canada doesn't keep track of when you leave.
