Hi,

I have applied for a visitor visa to meet my girlfriend in canada and it got rejected with the below information, I have provided the below documents and mentioned i will be staying at her place. can someone please advise how i can convince the visa officer when i reapply?

Reason for the refusal:

"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary
resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and
in your country of residence.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary
resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary
resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your current employment
situation.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee.
"

How long a trip did you request? Have you previously traveled to countries requiring visas such as the US or UK?

Sorry about your refusal but firstly you have mentioned that you will stay with your girlfriend so her present income might not be enough to welcome you and how many people are with her presently. Secondly, you will need to show more proof that you have ties in your country like your employment letter, your family you cater for if any and more reasons to show you are not staying long out of your country... Good luck

Hi, from your message above, she can't take of a visitor coz she doesn't have a home of her own and yet to be employed so all you need to do is just to ensure you have enough fund in account for the trip so as to proof that you can take care of your journey without any help

You will struggle to get a visa for a few reasons. First one is finances. $4500 is not a lot of savings given a ticket would use a good portion of your savings. Your travel history only involves business travel so UK doesn’t really count. Given that your gf is in Canada there will be concerns that you will get married and want to stay in Canada. Meanwhile you don’t have a family in your home country which would increase your likelihood of return to your home country. The fact that your gf is not employed and does not have a place of her own only complicates the situation.
