A few days ago I sent my application via Canada Post to CPC Mississauga. I paid more to get the signature and for guaranteed delivery on 2 days ago. The last status that I see online on Canada Post is "Out for Delivery", which has been there in the last few days. Today I talked to Canada Post and they have no clue where the parcel is! They are saying they will review it and get back to me in 5 business days! My wife sent me her application from my country and it took 3 days to get here and it's been 5 days already and Canada post hasn't delivered the application from Toronto to Mississauga? I had literally hundreds of pages of translations and documents and police certificate and photos, things that took us months to gather and I just paid more to be sure it will be delivered. Now I have to spend months not knowing if CPC has received my application? I should just assume they have received it?
Please anyone with any information or same situation help me here... :(

The first time i sent my application via Canada post , the website was updated the next day and i could see the application had arrived .The second time i paid for next day delivery so i expected to see it on line the next day .I couldn't see it on line for 5 days. When it did appear it was delivered the next day and with a signature . Lets hope the computer updates soon and you can see that your application was delivered.

I had problems with Canada post as well. We paid for express next day and it took them 6 days to deliver. Long story short It finally got there and it took another 48 hours for the website to update after it was delivered but we did get our money back from Canada post because they failed to deliver on time.

You've shown AOR Received on Oct. 23, what does it mean? So CPC eventually confirms they have your application? 6 Weeks later?

Hi,
Thanks man...What were you seeing? Out for Delivery or nothing?
I am really worried....I really hope they deliver it...Otherwise I have to wait month not knowing if CPC has received my application or not and then if they haven't, it will take me a few more months to get everything again.

CIC doesn't let you know they received the application. The only reason I knew on 10/23 was because I called CIC to see what was going on. They told me they had received it 9/10 and I just had to wait.

Recently they have been sending out AORs though, It seems to be hit or miss. I didn't get one, others did though.

I got SA on 10/28

Just for the record you won't hear from CIC for weeks. They don't get your application and send you an AOR right away.

I opened a ticket number on Canada post website and waited for a couple of days and called the customer service. The put me on hold and I was told the Canada post guarantees that my application has been delivered to CPC. and the status may never be updated! I was told with any government office like CPC since there are too many packages, they don't scan all of them! And if they don't scan it then your status wont be updated! Anyway, yesterday I checked the tracking number again and it was updated. I don't know if they made that up or what but from what I searched and what I heard that's the way Canada post works! If I ever want to mail anything to any government buildings I will do it with UPS or FedEx.

This is why I avoid Canada Post for important parcels. I wouldn't trust them to do the job properly. I used UPS for our application.

No they are lying ... If you pay for tracking they have to scan it . I don't care how many parcels they get, its their job ... So glad you were able to track it ... :)

Well you have both converted me to UPS or Fedex .. and they wonder why people are not using them anymore.
