Hi Folks,
Me and my husband are H1B holders in the US and we have our US green card applications in very initial stage (Labor application has been filed since a couple of weeks). We applied for Canadian permanent residence under the FSW program recently and we recently received a letter from CIC asking for our passports to grant us the permanent resident visa. Before proceeding further, we are wondering if we should let our immigration attorneys (who are handling out US green card applications) know that we are going ahead with the Canadian PR application. Since our US immigration attorneys work closely with our US employers, our preference is to not intimate them until we get our PR card.
Is there any risk involved in not intimating our US immigration attorneys about our Canadian PR application?
Appreciate your response!
