Whats the difference between Low/High/Target? On which are they dependant?

I'm searching like crazy and still cannot find any updates regarding the Express Entry scoring system. Where are the changes?

No changes yet! Immigration minister said that there will be an announcement in the coming weeks regarding awarding additional points to international students. No official date for the announcement yet.

Very bare-bone announcement. Nothing has been mentioned in details. Disappointing and that's an understatement.

Dang, I was really curious about specific changes in scoring.

Oh well

I love reading about "expected changes in coming weeks". That means roughly 52 weeks give or take

So... Figures are marginally up and there's no new news on any ee changes...

I am disappointed. So the articles stating " canada is pro immigrants" " immigration will be substantially increased" were all rubbish? Secondly "this fall" " coming weeks" etc are very vague terms.they are in the office from last one year. What they are upto anyway!

There's very little understanding of how frail the situation of international students are. Many PGWPs will expire by the time there's any sort of implementation of changes.

If u take federal skilled alone it is 26% up. that's not marginal.

Missed that one! :P

The cutoff would be very unlikely under 460 this year.

In 2015, there were only a few times that the cutoff were under 460, when the numbers of invitations in the first few months of 2015 were very low (which means the invitations in the later months would be more, as a result the cutoff is lower).

In 2017, the number of invitations every month would be smoother than 2015, and many application with points ranged in 250 - 270 have not been invited since 2016, and lower total quota, and possible extra points for international students. I suppose ppl with points under 460 have very rare chance to get invited. But anyway, good luck everybody.

I do believe in the first 3 months of 2017 the cutoff will go down to 440. Don't forget the number of ita's that will count towards 2017 quota are from June 2016 to June 2017
