Canada immigration alone first then family ?

Hi,

I am on H1 in USA. While my wife and kids are back in my country.
Can i file for canada immigration at buffalo alone. And once i get canada immigration
can i file case of my family. Will my family be able to live with me in canada
while their case will be still in process.

Please advise. I want to do so only to avoid lot of documentation required upfront and also to file my case from buffalo.

Raju,

If you are married and have children they must be included in your application. You do not have a choice of omitting them. However, you opt not to take them along with you, but must be examined when you appear for your medicals.
