16th December CIC CAP Update refers the "Pending Application" as of till 31st October as the completeness check of October applicants were completed in December and Charging of October applicants started in December.

I request u to please call cic and know ur spp status and pls share it with uS.
if the cic says after u provide details and they say we cannot find ur info on their system.
Then it means ur out of game.
if they say we found a file and its under review and call after 1st week of mar means ur in the game.

My visa was valid for almost 12 months when I applied and I still have 8 months left on visa.So I have no idea if they will consider my application.Any thoughts

how can you say that whose file can not be tracked are out of the game ?

Yes that's true maximum timelines for December Applicants is March and April.

But that is also the fact that 2281 was the hottest NOC after 2174/2171/2173.

Might be you missed the forum updates in September and October. I remember that Wednesday in September when NOC 2171 reached to 1000 from 571. It was like a thunderstorm on all the 2171 Candidates.

It's mean 5 months since that day, still the 2171 candidates are in dilemma that whether they are in or not as there are still many applicants of September 2171 who get this response from CIC when they call that your file is still under review/or not yet open and try to raise CSE after few weeks. And slowly these candidates are getting their file back.

There is also a member of this forum whose CC was charged and ECAS goes live and in Process and a week later ECAS disappeared and she got the file returned [Note : She was not from the IT based NOC].

I am telling you the facts but with that I wish you all the best for your application.

I had averaged the no of app per month it goes to 120 per month.
so we are left out with 285 app which are open . If we take average apps into consideration then 240 for nov and december applicants.
Stil we are under cap assuming average applications.

Usually CIC, cc or dd charges are done in phase wise. May be upto 20th nov they had chRged the applicants.
Applicants from 21st nov may be need to wait for the next phase charging which may happen somewhere in the 2nd week of march.

I hope this brings smile on most of the 2281 applicant faces

I would also like to quote that Maximum Number of Applications for FSW 2014 supersedes Maximum CAP Limit of Individual NOC to be 1000. As there are 50 NOCs this year and 50*1000 is 50K (where as Maximum intake 25K) . So again the ball is on the CIC side how they take this thing up.

I do not understand CIC, how come your CC is charged being a 1st December applicant but people from 21st November onward are still waiting. I thought CIC follows FIFO(First In First Out) policy. This worries me

hello everyone,
Its so sad but unfortunately 2281, its capped.Its offically declared today by an CIC agent.I was on the phone with this agent for about 15 minutes and asked about my application and all who applied.Its been capped after 20 nov thats he told me.Whoever got charged after 20 nov will get an email from CIC explaining that noc has been capped and will get their refund.All applications after 20 nov has been returned already.Hope we all get out file back soon.I wish all the best to all my friends under 2281 to apply in Express Entry and hope to see you in canada soon.If you have any query please message me.
