Friends,

applied for 2281 on sep 15th but we don't get offer/releiving letters mentioning hours of work per week? is it ok to send it with out the hours of work? do cic understand that in India they dont provide such details in there appointment letter/exp letter?

I will not recommend you send your LOR without it. Try and get your employer to mention "Full-time Employee" which would suffice.

Hi Nishesh,

I know its hard to make a guess regarding additional documents.

But any idea when they will start adding the additional documents once they receive.

Will there be any time frame for this or they will add the additional documents on the same day when they receive.

As we don't get any intimation from they we never know did they really add it or not.

Any idea regrading this ?

Hi Rohit

Additional documents, which applicants send post submission, is not a standardized procedure as far as CIC is concerned, but they are indeed doing this for us so we should count our blessings. But honestly, there are no timeframes or guidelines that I can help you with.

yes there are still chances for 2281, you have to be fast. Try to send your application till 3rd week of october to be in the race. After that chances will be very low.

CIC is asking for reference letter not offer/appointment/releiving/ experience letter. There is a big difference between them all and reference letter.

reference letter is something like where your company confirm your role and responsibility, basically the duties you were or you are performing on daily basis.

i am working with a reputed company in noida and before that i worked with another big brand name based in Gurgaon i got my reference letters with number of hours mentioned.

you need to talk to your HR and explain them the requirement, i am sure they will understand as they are their to help the employees not create problems for them or their future.

i hope this makes sense

Also let me tell you that if you send your application without mentioning the number of hours then most probably CIC can send it back to you. If you have already sent your application, try to get the updated reference letter ASAP and send it to CIC without any delay.

also send them an email mentioning the confusion so that they don't return your application.

You have to send your higher education degree with the full detail,it depends on the country where you graduated.
In WES website you can select your country then the necessary papers will be shown to you,
Luck. ;)

Please I have a question.

I am trying to determine the eligible area that my experience fits in more. I have 1 yr and 3 months continuous full time experience as a first line technical engineer. This job title and duties fits exactly into NOC 2282 (User Support Technician). However, looking at the list of eligible occupation listed on the CIC website, I can only see Computer Network Technician (2281) which my continuous full time experience does not fit into completely.

Will they consider my application and experience based on any matching occupation in the NOC 2011 list or will they use the list on the website which just shows the received applications?

NOC 2282 is not eligible for FSW 2014. You cannot apply under a NOC if its not eligible for the program.

2282 is not part of the FSWP occupations for this year, however let me tell you it is very rare that your job responsibilities exactly match with NOC 2281, if you think it matches upto 60-70% then it's fine.

you need to get the reference letter from your company in order to support your claim and you will be good to go. But you need to act fast as time left is very less.
