Send an email to Ottawa requesting the courier address while explaining the problem that FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes. I did the same and they sent me another PPR request with the physical address for courier delivery. They might take a few days to respond.
All the best.

Hello , I’ve used UPS service, I put my passport inside envelope , added prepaid return envelop as well (has to be export one) and did everything myself

That is great. Do you think they are going to ban us from US entry if we do not have Advance parole?

Yes , they will . If you have asylum pending and don’t have advance parole , you won’t be able to return to the US. Permanent residents of Canada need visa to visit US. Only Canadian citizens can visit without any visa

Hi guys,

I'd like to find out your opinion about my case. I was an asylum applicant in the US 5 years ago and was waiting for an invitation for biometrics but suddenly left the USA and came back to my native country after over a year being legally presented there. I used to have EAD, which means, I was being there on a legal base.

Obviously, I gotta mention everything in the process of getting PPR, but anyway, any pieces of advice on this?

Thanks.

Hello . Well, the express entry process isn’t gonna be any different for you than for anyone else who doesn’t have an asylum pending in the US, besides the fact you’ll have to disclose it in your PPR application. So for a step by step EE process I think you should better follow an express entry specific thread on this forum . The only hiccup most of the US asylum applicants have is obtaining a police certificate from your own country , which has to be done through your consulate , and requirements are different based on your country of origin . The whole process can be done by yourself, or with a help of a consultant. Make sure that your consultant is registered in Canadian immigration service . I personally used a consultant , his name is Marc Laforce.

Hi I have quick question. My passport from original country was expired since I've been waiting for Asylum decision for 4 years, if I apply the express entry and obtain it, can I travel to Canada despite both my visa and passport were expired? Or will I get a new passport issued from Canada? Thank you.

You must have a valid passport in order to apply for Canadian PR from the US, you also have to be lawfully present in the US (pending asylum is acceptable for that). You have to obtain a passport from your country consulate in the US.
