First of all, it sometimes takes longer for people to respond, I see you had it up for two hours. Most people on here work or have children, so it can take a few hours/days to get a response. So please be patient.Alice.a1 said:because no one answered my question, I tried to delete the topic I couldn't.
the question again:
my husband is sponsoring me to canada,
in the applications that we fill for the embassy
some questions about where i lived since 18 years old
I was born and lived in country (A) till the end of the first year of my university study, and for 3 years after that I was going just for 2 month to do the exams,
then I did not travel to anywhere, I am living in country (B) till now.
in the aplication I wrote that I am liveing in country (B) since I became 18 till now. Because I did not live in country (A) more than 2 month after I became 18 years old. They said 6 month so I did not write any thing
in the last email from the embassy they ask me to give them my transcript from the university, I gave it to them and I wrote this sentence
that I am living In country (B) since 18 years old and I was going just to do the exams for less than 2 month.
Do you think they will ask me to bring a police certeficate from that country, it is so difficault and I cant go there AT ALL because there is no security in that country, also now I do not know anyone there.
Thank you so muchparker24 said:First of all, it sometimes takes longer for people to respond, I see you had it up for two hours. Most people on here work or have children, so it can take a few hours/days to get a response. So please be patient.
Second, you more than likely will NOT need a police certificate, as you didn't live there for longer than 6 months.
thank you , but country A does not have an embassy here. I hope they will not ask me to bring itsunsun said:I think you need a police certificate from country A....You can ask help to country A embassy to get your police certificate...or you can explain to CIC that you can't go to country A to get a police certificate because it is not safe to travel there.

its best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I know its not a great answer but there is a lot of truth to it.Alice.a1 said:because no one answered my question, I tried to delete the topic I couldn't.
