Can wife and son apply for citizenship by leaving husband with permanent residence

Hi I am in different situation and i hope i get some advise here. Currently Myself ,my wife and son are eligible for Canada citizenship and I am not able to apply for citizenship due to some commitments in India but My wife and son are interested to apply now.
Is it possible that my wife and son gets citizenship with i am being with permanent residence for another 5 year term or it is not good move to apply citizenship for them now?

Your wife and son can apply for citizenship separately. Whether it is good move or not, depends on your personal preference.
