my home country passport has just expired and i have booked tickets to go back home in 2 weeks.

am i going to be stopped by the airline you think? :-[ :-[ :-[

To avoid possible issues at airport. You can request urgent passport renewal at your country's consulate by showing the airline ticket.

I think we can always travel with expired passport! no problem with that but make it sure you have a valid passport as well! just to avoid any hassle and the peace of mind.
