Even if they track, what's a big deal. We can always say we made a mistake while filing out the profile earlier. Everyone is obliged to provide proof for anything that is claimed, so what finally is claimed with proof is what the officer need to adjudicate upon. He just cannot pinpoint something in the change history and reject an application.

Moreover considering the amount of applications and the pressure to stick to processing times, it is unlikely an officer goes through something that is totally unnecessary to him.

They may record changes from ita to eApr, but not pre ita.

I CONFIRM from GCMS notes that every single change has been tracked throughout the life of my express entry...my language score change....my noc change....but nothing to worry as once you make change, you are notifying CIC....

I made tons of changes.....wasn't a problem

Thank you, Itsmee. I'm not sure I've seen this confirmed in black and white before.

At least we know for sure that the officer is only responsible for comparing the data at the time of ITA and at eApr.

if they only compare those two: frozen EE and eAPR, then I do not mind at all, as any difference I will cover in the LoE.
Just hope they dont pay attention to millions of changes I made while filling in Apr or EE...

Yes, have you ever applied to IRCC before. Have you ever applied for a student visa, a visitor visa etc and been given a UCI. A EE profile is not an application. You are not given a UCI until you submit your eAPR
There are two questions:

1) have you ever applied to IRCC?
2) have you ever applied for express entry?

Since I have a previous EE application number from my withdrawn profile, I answered yes to #2 and because I have applied to IRCC for visas in the past, I answered yes to #1.

But you didn't apply. You created a profile.

So what's the harm of answering that question In the affirmative and providing the previous application number?

There is no harm, but it's technically not correct.

Electronic system [e-app] automatically captures and records all the changes/updates in the express entry profiles. There is nothing to worry about this.

Applicants are allowed to update information or make necessary changes whenever possible/applicable. Even after getting an ITA, applicants are allowed to amend/update information, as necessary.

Stop worrying about this. It would become an issue only if an applicant tries to manipulate the system to get an ITA, and then cannot justify the provided information with supporting documentation with an e-APR. Also, if new/actual information renders an applicant ineligible (MEC, invitation round cut-off score etc), then the application will be rejected.

Changes like adding/removing some education, employment or other factors which one is not claiming any points won't affect the processing of an application. Similarly, editing information (to provide further details / corrections) in different areas is also permissible.

Basically, whatever information an applicant is allowed to edit, is for the very same reason, so that applicants can make necessary changes/corrections.

Hey,

I've had an EE profile since December of 2015. I only got my ITA a year later on December 2016. I submitted my application in January 2017, but I decided to order my GCMS notes on February 2017. All the changes you make on your profile are kinda logged. The reason I say kinda logged because every time a change occurs an "Assessment" section in the GCMS notes is created and it lists things like years of experience, which category is the client meeting, age.. etc. It seems like it's only things that affect the CRS score. I don't think all the answers are logged, perhaps when a client transmits their profile there is an automated program that converts the answers to what is actually logged.

In regards to making modifications to your profile post eAPR. It's absolutely fine, given that your CRS score does not go below the round of invitation score. I personally made some major changes on my profile after I got the ITA and before I submitted my eAPR. My application was approved and I'm waiting for my passport to be returned. I made changes like: reduced the proof of funds to zero since I was invited under CEC. I changed the answer to the question if I have a job offer from yes to no since my job offer does not qualify and I was not claiming any points for it. I also changed the answer to the question if I applied to Express Entry before. (I had an older profile that I withdrew, and I simply explained in the LOE that this is the first time I actually submit an eAPR, but I've had work and study permits before)

After your aggressive response I was disinclined to believe you. Now I know you're right, so I apologise.

Also, you don't have to explain the changes/updates in the e-APR as you would already be providing the documentation in support of the information submitted, so do not lengthen your LOEs unnecessarily. : )

I'm waiting for a decision on my PR application. 17 months since I submitted my online app after getting an ITA. :/
