Yes, that's fine. You're just going for a short visit.Basically title, can I the sponsor travel to USA by road for one week or so while I wait for my SA (sponsor approval). I already received AOR 1. Any advise would be appreciated. Would there be any issues doing so at this stage?
Thank you for your quick reply. I was a bit confused because when I exit via land border IRCC will know when they are sending me my Sponsor approval, so I was a bit curious would that be any issue as it requires Sponsors who are PR to be physically present in Canada while sponsorship in progress.Yes, that's fine. it requires you to stay in Canada, it means that you can’t go to other country and work there. But it allows you to go for a vacation or short business trip.Thank you for your quick reply. In general short trips of 2–3 weeks appear to be overlooked although no exact rules in terms of amount of time outside of Canada.Thank you for your quick reply. Thanks for the reply, even I do visit it will be maximum of 1 week. So was just making sure if thats acceptable before I make any travel plans. To be honest still not sure If I should take the risk and travel. In general short trips of 2–3 weeks appear to be overlooked although no exact rules in terms of amount of time outside of Canada.
Short trip is fine. PR needs to live/reside in Canada. It doesn't mean that he/she cannot travel while sponsoring. Thanks for the reply, even I do visit it will be maximum of 1 week. No risk as a PR for a 1 week stay in the US.Thanks for the reply, even I do visit it will be maximum of 1 week. So was just making sure if thats acceptable before I make any travel plans. To be honest still not sure If I should take the risk and travel.
Should be okayHello, I am a canadian PR and am planning to apply Outland Sponsorship to my spouse. But I am working remote to my US employer and as I need to maintain my h1 status, I need to keep travelling atleast twice a month to the US. Would I be allowed to travel for short visits like just a day or two for multiple times a month when our Outland Sponsorship is in process? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I dont find enough info for my case on the internet here.
