Hi! I applied for SP and SOWP at the same time. I am a student and got my ppr issued today and send my passport today as well, but my husband still does not have his BVL. I had my app approved on 28th of August, but no ppr because of travel restrictions. We wrote an inquiry at the beginning of October to the processing office and this is what an officer said:
"Dear Sir,
As you might be aware, your spouse hasn’t received the Student visa and an actual Study permit, but a letter that confirms her application is approved and she may start her studies online due to the current travel restrictions. Your application, as accompanying dependant of your spouse, will be approved at the same time as your spouse’s application."
Well, now my application is officially approved, it even says so on GC Key. The only reason I can think of for this delay is that he had to do follow-up medicals and that process took 3 months (1 month from the date my medicals were approved). I am now worried about why they are not issuing him even BVL, let alone an approval as they said.
Any thoughts? I will send another webform once I get my passport and POE letter.
