Now that I have all the documents how do I inform, CIC about it ?

I got married after I received my CoPR , and want to add my wife as Non-accompanying to the application. How do I inform CIC about this change.

What is the step by step process and do I need any additional documents apart from my Marriage certificate ?

I am in India , and also applied for Express Entry from India, but under CEC

Can I still use the above URL and email to let CIC know about the change of my martial status ?

By the way in the URL under the Type of application/enquiry (required) drop down I dont see UPDATE MARTIAL status field. Which one should I pick ?

Please let me know

Permanent Residence (online), then enter your query or request to add your spouse and also state that you already received your COPR. It takes about 10-20 days to receive a reply.

Dude why do you want to add her non-accompanying? They won't recalculate your points if you get married after eAPR. Making accompanying vs non-accompanying won't make any difference as you need to submit PCC and medicals anyways for your spouse.

I t makes bit of difference to me coz I submitted the application under CEC category and didnt submit any funds (Just mentioned 0)

But now that I am married and if I add my wife as accompanying then CIC will ask us to show proof of Funds , this is the main reason I am adding her as non-accompanying besides she didnt give her IELTS and also no ECA done for her

Would appreciate your thoughts on this

IELTS and ECA not required as there won't be any recalculation of points if you get married post application submission. Can you not work out on proof of funds somehow? Check this forum, there are ways to tackle proof of funds with gift deeds etc. Sponsoring later is an absolute pain.. you need to be in Canada to sponsor, meet income requirements and most importantly it is going to take 12 months or so to get it done.

Agreed with all of the above. Bad idea to add her as non-accompanying. You should add your new wife as an accompanying spouse. If you don't, guaranteed you'll regret it later.

Am I missing something here? If he's required to provide POF it doesn't matter whether the spouse is accompanying or non-accompanying he'd be required to provide POF for 2 people regardless.

He's a CEC applicant so why are we talking about POF?

So here is what I did:
I replied back to Delhi Immigration(from where I had received the PPR mail) attaching my marriage certificate and few marriage photos. I had clearly mentioned my UCI number, COPR issue date, expiry date, marriage date, etc etc. I CC-ed CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca.
I received an email(except the auto-generated ones) after 2 follow-ups almost after a month of 1st intimation. They had asked me to submit majorly IMM8 form, Schedule A, Additional family details, Birth certificate of my spouse, Indian PCC for me and my spouse, PCCs of any other country if applicable, Passport scans, Document replacement fee(30 CAD) receipt, RPRF fees(1040 CAD) receipt for my husband, RPRF for me(dont know why because I had already paid. Not paying again, have just mentioned in a LOE).
Have not been yet asked about any proof of relationship or medicals or fund details(little skeptical here why).
Also, I had to go to VFS office to submit my passport and COPR for visa cancellation. Tip: Carry a printout of the mail thread of the PR email to which you must have intimated about your marriage, along with the reply from Delhi immigration, where they will be asking you to submit your passport to VFS office.
Trust me, this scenario is rarer than you think, so not every authority is quite familiar. Anyways, you can only start doing anything of the above, only once you get a reply from Immigration.
Whether your dependent is an accompanying one or not will be a pointer in one of the above forms.
My husband cannot be away from his family this year, so our plan is for him to accompany me, to land in Toronto, get our PRs activated, stay with me for 2 weeks and come back. Later I will receive both of our PRs, post him his to India, which he can later use to re-enter Canada in 2019.
I dont know the details of a non-accompanying spouse, but to reduce the complication(like there is not enough: getting married after COPR and all that), I would suggest anyone to accompany the primary applicant for first time landing.
Hope the information helps. I will keep everyone posted on what happens next in our story. :)

I am in tricky situation here,

I informed about my marriage on February-01-2018 to CIC via email and they responded back on February-02-2018 to upload additional documents in 30 days (due by 04-March-2018) but my original CoPR expired on February-12-2018.

Unfortunately there was only one slot provided to upload all the documents and the maximum size allowed was just 5MB for all these documents, though I compressed all these documents to 4.82 MB, I still got an error while uploading them.

I have repoted this technical issue to CIC and awaiting a fix, but I do not want to miss out the submission due to this technical issues so I have sent all the documents to CPC Ottawa via email and also included LOE , now I am not sure if they are going to re-open my case or if they are going to close it since my original CoPR date expired (though I was given time till March 04 to submit all the documents)

Can anyone share their thoughts ?

Now that my CoPR has expired and also my medicals and IELTS score.

If CIC re-opens my application will these points be re-calculated ? Since my medicals and IELTS has expired will I be ineligible?

Please share your thoughts I am very worried

Your app has not been closed. It is back in process. Your points will not be recalculated.
