Hi, I received the Passport Request for my wife 2 weeks ago for PR. Unfortunately, her passport was damaged a few days before that so she had to apply for a new passport.
The PPR mentions that the passport must be submitted within 21 days, otherwise, we have to raise a web form. I don't think her passport will arrive in time so I am thinking to contact IRCC and request for an extension. What are the chances of approval in this case? The reasoning is legit and I will attach a picture of her damaged passport as evidence.
