CAN Plus + Visa Query_Urgent Help Requested

Hi,

I am applying for a CAN Plus visa and am a bit confused about the following points. I would greatly appreciate the answers.

1. I am using the IRRC Portal to file since, in the GC key, I could not find any questions asking me about a valid US visa. I am not sure why but despite resetting the questions many times, I could not find the question asking this. I don't know why. Please correct me if this is how it is or if I am skipping something.

2. Secondly, when I tried using the IRCC portal, I did find the question asking me about a valid US visa, which I have, but as per my research, the Can Plus application requires minimum documents and does not ask for financials. I question how IRCC can weigh up someone's financial and work-related ties without supporting documents.

3. I want to add my wife and child to the application, and the IRCC portal requires me to create a group which I would. But my wife and child don't come under the CAN Plus visa category, so in that case, they would have a separate checklist of documents from mine. So what implication would that have on my application where I am not providing any supporting documents under CAN Plus but providing everything for my family? How would this work?

4. What would be the turnaround time of this application in a joint application scenario where one applicant is filling under CAN Plus, and the dependent applicants are not?

Really appreciate an elaborated answer for understanding.

1. I recently applied for my financee with a US Visa and got the Cdn Visa. There was a section in the portal (Forgot which page exactly) which asked for previous travel history and in the drop down menu, I selected US and in the last final page where you attach docs, it asks for you to upload a copy of the US Visa and stamps.

2. You are right, when I selected US travel history, it asks for less documents, but I still uploaded all the necessary docs as if it wasn't a CAN+ application. So just to be safe, still upload, pay stubs, bank details, cover letter, employment letter etc. Treat your application normally as if it wasnt CAN +.

3. Unsure about this part. A Consultant might have an answer for this.
