Hello!
My boyfriend is Canadian, stationed in Victoria, and during a visit last year I was stopped at the border and deemed inadmissible. I sent in my criminal rehabilitation paperwork about 5 months ago for 2 dwai's I received 12 years ago. I know they say the wait can be anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
About a month ago I found out I'm pregnant and we've decided to get married. I'm wondering if these new developments have any bearing on the criminal rehabilitation process? Should I be notifying someone? I assume the answer is no but if there's any chance of speeding up the process I'm for it!
He can't come live with me because he's in the Navy and it would be such a huge help to not have to do this pregnancy on my own.
Just curious
Thanks for any thoughts
