Can I visit Saudi Arabia before landing in Canada?

Heyloo peeps,

Got my visa today and I have a question already. My father, sister and tons of other relatives live in Saudi Arabia. Can I visit my family in Saudi Arabia before I land in Canada? Or do I have to fly directly from India to Canada?
