hi guys,
I married my husband (he is a Canadian citizen) in September 2013 in Canada. I returned back to the U.S. after our civil marriage. I am in the process of submitting my application for immigration to Canada under Family Class for spousal sponsorship. While my application is being processed, am I allowed to visit my husband in Canada? I contacted the CIC and they said it was up to the Canadian Border Services to allow or deny me entry while my papers were being processed. However, the Canadian Border Services replied to my email stating they were not in a position to answer that and that my situation was an issue that should be answered by CIC.
I am so confused. I do not know what to do. We were planning on having our traditional wedding ceremony next year in Canada but how can i know for sure if i will be allowed to enter Canada?
