Sorry you had to go through that. I can't believe you had to take the risk and spend money to go back to Turkey to get it done. What frustrates me the most is the total lack of transparency on the process and what the estimated timeline is. It is one thing to have to wait for months and months, but having to wait for so long while having no idea at all of how long it might take is really frustrating.
My application was approved 3 months ago. I thought it would take, at most, 1-2 months at most to get it after that. The least they could do would be to expand the portals to provide a better explanation of what's going on with the applications. Simply tell me how many applications are in queue for virtual landing and how many they process per day, on average, so that I can get an idea of how long it might take.
Oh yes, I didn't even mention the money I spent to go back!
If they give you these information they won't have the current comfort anymore right? Do you know how many parties do they make in Ankara immigration office? They absolutely DO NOT care what is happening to the people. There is no proper management of the offices and they take advantage of this to the max. Their ''customers'' are immigrants. Immigrants have zero power and zero voice during this process. On the other hand immigration officers have the 100% power over the process. Your life is in their hands and they do not care about you...
Btw, considering high house prices, low quality of residentials, terrible health care, bad education system, bad weather, expensive life, dangerous traffic, fake human rights attitude, we moved back to Turkey. We are not living in Canada anymore.
