Can I travel back to Canada without PRTD Document ?

I became permanent resident on April 4th, 2021 and I recently came to India on Oct 25th, 2021 to visit my family. Since I did not my PR Card yet, I applied for PRTD document through email on Nov 4th 2021. As of now, there is no update regarding the status of my PRTD application.

Is there any way that we can track it ? Can you please suggest ?

If not, Can I travel back to Canada without the PRTD document ? I have a work permit that's valid till Dec 2022.

You need either a valid PR card or a valid PRTD in order to be able to board a plane and fly to Canada.

The alternative would be to fly to the US (assuming you have a US visa) and then re-enter Canada through a land border using a private vehicle and your COPR.

I don't know if it's possible to track PRTD applications.

If you are PR, then your work permit is no longer valid. COPR letter is not relevant since you are PR.

Is there anyway that I can talk to IRCC regarding the status of my PR card. I've sent my photo and CoPR letter through mail on April 7th, 2021 and I haven't received my PR Card yet. All of my friends got their PR card but I haven't received my card . Is there anyway that I can do in this situation ?

If you are PR, then your work permit is no longer valid. COPR letter is not relevant since you are PR.

No - you won't be able to board a plane with your work permit and COPR.

The work permit will have been canceled in the system by now since you are a PR. Also, the work permit alone wouldn't be sufficient, you would also need to have a valid TRV. You no longer qualify for a TRV since you are a PR.

You need either a valid PR card or valid PRTD to fly to Canada.

If you do not have a US visa, then you need to wait for your PRTD or your PR card.
