HI. I DIVORCE MY HUSBAND LAST YEAR 2011. I CHECK MY SON'S STATUS ONLINE AND HIS MEDICAL IS IN THE EMBASSY ALREADY. LATELY ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO ME AND MY EX-HUSBAND HAD A VERY LONG TALK AND WE REALIZED THAT WE STILL NEED EACH OTHER VERY MUCH AND THAT WE ARE WILLING TO COMPROMISE AND GET BACK TOGETHER BECAUSE WE HAVE A SON WHO WE LOVE SO MUCH. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I GET MAD I EASILY DO THINGS WITHOUT THINKING OF THE CONSEQUENCES. I HOPE I CAN STIL GET HIM AFTER I DIVORCE HIM BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ALSO MY SON TO GROW UP WITHOUT A FATHER FIGURE. DO YOU THINK I CAN STILL GET HIM? WHAT WILL I DO? DO I HAVE TO MAKE A LETTER TO VEGREVILLE ALBERTA? WE DECIDED TO RENEW OUR MARRIAGE HERE IN CANADA IF GIVEN THE CHANCE TO COME HERE WITH US. BECAUSE MY SON WILL HAVE HIS PR VISA SOONER OR LATER BEC. I JUST CHEKCED HIS ONLINE STATUS AND THE MEDICAL WAS RECEIVE ALREADY IN MANILA EMBASSY. PLEASE HELP ME.

THANK YOU SO MUCH

I need some advise and if you guys have the same problem with me. I just want to know if it's sill possible to sponsor my husband after divorcing him, we're ready to remarry in Canada again to make things legal. I just want my family to start over again in a legal way. :(

You divorced your husband, assumedly in the Philippines? Which I'm assuming was actually an annulment, which could not have been a rash decision since they cost so much money, take so long to get and are so hard to prove.

hi. no i divorce him here in toronto canada last year.. we're still married in the philippines because there is no divorce in the philippines

i'm here i Canada almost 5 years now and just waiting for m permanent residence asap.. thanks

Oh, interesting, I didn't know you could do that.

Yes, you can do that. If you are married in the Philippines you can get divorce here in Canada. problem is now we're okay, and I want to sponsor him again after divorcing. I don't know if that is possible and what will I do? I don't know what to do with it. We want to start a new beginning, we have a son. Confuse.

So did he have to sign the divorce in Canada or does he know about it?

he need to sign in and send it back to you ( white form ) then you have to bring it to the court... then you have to wait for 1 month and that's it ... DIVORCE!

You are free to re-marry him in Canada, the question is, will CIC accept the relationship as genuine?

Your application to sponsor him will likely be scrutinized very carefully, as you may be suspected of engaging in a MOC to help your (ex)husband gain status. If you file Inland, expect your file to be passed to the local office without AIP. If you file Outland, expect him to be convoked to an interview.

Our decision to live together in Canada is a mutual decision. Maybe he realize his wrong doing will not make him a better person that's why he is willing to come in Canada and start a new beginning. In what category I will apply is it Fiancee visa bec we need to re marry in Canada we are willinh to do it asap. Please help me. Can I ask the Immigration about this case? I plan to sponsor him in any category but I have to make sure first that I get my PR status first and my son. I think it will come this month.

What is MOC and AIP btw? Thanks

MOC=marriage of convenience--if you get married just for the PR

AIP=approval in principle--basically, when they've decided you're a genuine couple are still reviewing whether he's eligible

aw..
this is a very complicated situation.. :(
i guess what u need is a professional help..
seek for a lawyer who is inexperienced in this cases. :)
