Seniors,

I received my AOR - recently .

Q-1 . Any question or query related to suddenly deposited amount in savings account?

Can we justify to VO that we have invested funds to other assets like GOLD/MF/ULIP and as now AOR received we had Sold/withdrawal and deposited to Savings account.

Q-2 . recently made FDs are valid . ( FD's made after AOR )

thanks - pls do ASAP because i need to send dosc to Visa office.

You don't need to inform from where you arrange money. Visa office thinks genuine and not borrowed if it is in the account of principal applicant or accompany spouse.

thanks visaexpert !

but if we made FD recently after AOR in the name of Pri Applicant . is it valid ?

YES, NO PROBLEM

Hi,

I'll soon be sending my full documents to New Delhi.
I have applied under the FSW visa.

I'm single applicant, unmarried and living with my parents.

My query is regarding funds.
As i lived and worked abroad since graduating in Inida.
I had opened a joint savings a/c with my father here in India.

Am going to show savings a/c and fixed deposit receips jointly held by me and my father as proof of funds.

Further I will attach a letter of consent from my father saying that these funds are entirely mine.
Also I will attach a letter saying the reason to keep a joint a/c with my father was so that there is easy access, maintainance and for emergency as well as security of my funds.

My funds are almost 8 lakhs rupees. Approx 13,000 CAN $

Would this be fine? Please suggest.
Will be very kind of you.

In my opinion No

You need funds in only your name. It is better to move the Funds in an FD which is only in your name

Hi ,

Ankit is right, it would be better to move funds into your name.

Read the reply I got from CHC-ND w.r.t to Proof of Funds. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t47531.0.html

That should clarify your doubts.

-Matlal.

yes, it is fine.

Acceptable proof of funds are:
-bank accounts in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;
-cashable investments in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;
-cashable fixed deposits in your name of the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner.

Not acceptable are:
-bank accounts in someone else's name;
-bank accounts which are joint in your name and someone else (other than your accompanying spouse/common-law partner);
-bank accounts in the name of your spouse who is not accompanying you to Canada;
-property valuations;
-vehicle valuations;
-jewellery valuations.

Dear friends
Is it mandatory that the whole amount of money is in a single a account? I have got three accounts that the sum of their balances are equal to the amount I have claimed to take to Canada.

A joint bank account with your father will not be accepted.

As long as it shows that it has been your account for 6 months and the deposits makes sense given that it is your account and not a joint account.
Initially my account was single for 3 years then I joined my father for easy transactions.
