you can get effedavite or notary of that transaction that will be done by your father and thats purely your part which save by your parents for your future and now time to use it for you and they are return it to you now... can you get this letter from them?
I show my 4 deposit wich saved by my wife (cash ) and some from my parents (check get by them) and they issue me letter that this is your part from us which save for your future, now we returning you and now no more monewith us to pay you for your future, this is the last transaction by us. and my wife also write letter that she save money when she was worked .

from my parents only 2 entries.... by check..
notary will mentioned that father is payin the his part of from family. even my parents mentioned that now there are nothing to give me from family. thats not gift, thats your part by parents... and my lawyer is accepted and they cleared before this cases too..

Better to have the funds in your name. Parents are not party to your application. Else you might be asked to show proof of funds again and this generally delays the process.

Can we submit Proof of Funds again ??

Also, is application rejected because of it ??

Or do they provide any chance to show proof of funds again ??

In most cases they dont give any chance because if you have funds then you should have shown it at first time, giving second chance means you will be borrowing money from someone.

Setcanada,

I am in the same boat. I have shared the bank statement, of the the joint account I have with my Father.

I guess, mutual funds and insurance premiums are also considered.

Additionally, i got an affidavit stating that the funds were at my disposal and that I can liquidate the fixed assets (property/home) at any time. Also, I have got a letter from a reputed Chartered Accountant - showing the funds (Savings, FD, Insurance Premium, Fixed Assets) available to me.

Sometime in July 2009, when I met a consultant, they were of the opinion that Joint Account, in which you have been holding a balance for 6months and more, is eligible as funds. Though , I didn't continue with this consultant for various reason, I presume, it is kinda acceptable.

Guess, we have to wait and see.

All the best to all !!

What/How to Show the funds
These funds could be in the form of:
• Cash
• Securities in bearer form (for eg, stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills) or
• Negotiable instruments in bearer form (for eg, bank drafts, cheques, TCs or money orders).

Qorax

THANKS QORAX AND MITLAL for your Valuable suggestion.
for safer side i attached my spouse bank statement (who is accompany me)..so it doesnt matter for me if VO consider it or not the mutual funds or my joint account with my father

Setcanada,
Lucky you. Me banking only on the joint account statement.

But as Qorax, quoted from the Canadian Website - it states the CASH should be availble to you. Wonder, why it should be a problem, if you have a stake in the account wheather jointly or individually owned.

Thanx Qorax for your inputs.

Setcanada, keep us updated. All the best to you!!
