Can I quit my job -cec

I need an urgent answer, I got my draw through cec and i already submitted all the required documents. I am on PGWP and I want to quit my job. I also have pr support LMIA which means I got 50 points in express entry because of that. it's not a bonded lmia or on a closed work permit. I am sure i can leave my job but i want to get a professional advice before i go forward with this, please let me know.

Do you mean that you want to quit the job that gave you 50 extra points for having a job offer?

If so, that's risky if you need the 50 points. IRCC may take those points away from you if you are no longer working for that employer.

If you don't need those 50 points (i.e. you are still above the cut off without the 50 points), then go ahead and quit.

The cut off was 75 and my score was 470. do I need to let IRCC know about quitting a job.
Second question- what if my employer gives me a lay off , due to covid?
