Can I obtain a work permit/visa while in Canada on a visitors visa ? I entered Canada on a visitors visa after applying for a 1year working visa. I am waiting for a reply, but wondering if accepted will I have to leave Canada?
Yes - you'll have to leave Canada to activate the work permit. You can drive to a US/Canada land border and "flagpole" to activate your work permit once it's approved.
I have been granted my work permit so i will leave and re-enter Canada. Could someone please help me with what documentation i will need? Do i need financial information?
