Can I as a visitors to Canada convert my visitors visa to work permits in Canada before expiration of my visit, I have an employer who has a job for me in Canada but I intend to visit Canada first as a temporary resident

Was this not answered in a previous post that the employer needs to apply for an LMIA and whilst you could be in the country as a visitor there is no guarantee on how long it could take to go through the process (possibly 4-6 months) plus as a visitor you cannot work for however long the process takes. You cannot 'convert' a visitor permit to a work permit they are completely separate processes/applications.

Also no guarantee when you land as a visitor on how long you will be allowed to stay as a visitor, usually max 6 months can be less if assessed at the border as a non genuine visitor for example if any hint you might do any work.
