Can I have a car license with a Tourist Visa? With Sponsorship processing.

Does anyone know if I can get a car license with a Tourist Visa? My husband is a citizen and we are in the process of Sponsorship but he has chronic pain and we are needing me to start driving. Any help? Thanks

You can use the driver's license from your home country for a little while, depending on the province. Like two to three months. Some countries have exchange programs so if you are from one of those, you should be able to simply exchange your license for a Canadian one.
