Can i get my passport back after becoming a Canadian Citizen

Can i get my seized passport back after getting my Canadian passport?

If yes, can i travel with it to my home country?

@canuck78 can you please help me with one suggestion,
I got my PR card thru H&C in 2020. I visited my back home in 2021 September and I stayed for 41 day. After i come back in feb10th 2022 my father was admitted in ICU because of his Kidney was damaged. My mother was all alone in back home so i came back home on March 15th 2022 for the 2nd time and my father died same day I arrived.
Now my question is, is there will be any issues or any problem with Immigration if I stay another 40 days in my home country. I have all the papers from hospital that my father was in hospital for 34 days and his death certificate.
I would like to know if there will be any issues when i will apply for Citizenship or is there any chance they cancel my PR card. I am very tensed please help me.

You are fine, if you were a refugee claimant then you would have issues. Only thing is the time you stayed outside Canada will be added to citizenship time. So you will have to wait few more months for citizenship application
