can i apply without ielts if i have arranged employment opinion with 71 points

I have positive arranged employment opinion and i have 71 points according to the test on cic website but i don't have ielts however i already booked the ielts test but my arranged employment opinion will expire soon before the ielts exam .
my question is can i send applictaion to sydney novascotia without ielts.
please help me iam very confused

Hi

You will need to submit IELTS certificate as it is mandatory, do you have a previous certificate that has expired? If you can bring forward your test that might work.. good luck

No no no ...........Fresh IELTS must be given that must be valid for 2 years..............if your IELTS has been expired or have to expire in few days........even application reached in Nova Scotia.......

You will need to do the test again, I was asking if rajarana had an expired certificate as their AEO was about to expire, you can't submit an expired certificate..

I took the test in july 2011 and now I am gonna apply under CEC but I need original Certificate again. I sent request to centre by filling their mandatory forms but they did not reply that they got my forms or not. I am waiting and waiting. Can anybody share their experience on this matter. Thanks and please advice what else I can do to get IELTS copy in short time?

Hi BK, I am unsure about Conestoga College however in the UK Uni where I took my test they stated they would not give copies although when applying I was able to request they sent copies to other companies/uni.. Can you call them to chase up? I hope you gain your copies

Yes I have ielts results with 6.5 bands which was expired on 20th nov 2012
can I send that also I already booked for ielts and the next available date given to me is June 28th 2013

No - you can't do this. Your IELTS results must be valid when you submit the application.

You'll have to get a new arranged employment opinion since your current one will expire before you can complete the new IELTS test.

Scylla has given you the correct information, unfortunately you will need another AEO however the process is changing and as of 4th May all PR applications will require a positive LMO.. Why did you leave it so long to start your application when you had a positive AEO?

Try and see if you could get earlier date for CELPIP. If you send your application without scores, they will send it back to you saying it is incomplete

Do CIC have the original certificate? If it is still valid you may be able to request it is returned I think, let us know how you get on

Yes, CIC has my original IELTS as I sent it in a Federal Skilled Worker application. Now, FSW application supports a copy of IELTS if original is already with them when applying second time but I did not find anything related to to this in the instructions guide for CEC. can any senior member suggest what could be done in this situation? should i try sending my application with the copy explaining that CIC hold my original certificate ???
